Is there really no fix for this? How do other people mod names/ not get this error?

 I really don't know to be honest, however, you can turn on the debug mode to find the errors.

Hi all!

I cant seem to change the name of Cuba.

I have set the ruling party non-aligned/neutral, which is correct - but the name is 'Anarcho-Rupublic of Cuba' which is the default name for non-aligned cuba, like my localisation files didnt apply. The focus tree/spirits/etc apply, but the name wont change. What actually sets the country name?

CUB_neutrality:5 "The Nation of Cuba"   Should this not be the name for non-aligned cuba now?

On another note, my leader and part names have an underscore in place of spaces. How do I fix that?

In "CUB_neutrality:5", replace the 5 with a 0.

Did you export the mod too and unzip it?

You'll have to edit the country's properties once you export the mod, but eh, in the future there might be something to do that.

Can you add starting research to a country in the country creator?

 No, sadly, you'll have to do that once you export the mod to HoI4.

What is it you're confused about, specifically? 

Did you open the Paradox Launcher for HoI4 and go to "All Installed Mods," then "Upload Mod," then "Create New Mod?" Btw your mod is interesting.
